From WomensCycling.com.au: Poll: What do you think about the Amy Gillett Foundation Advert?
Rosemarie writes: “The Amy Gillett Foundation launched a TV campaign to promote and foster respect between motorists and cyclists. The advert is being screened as community services advert on Channel 10. Anyone who has not seen it and or want to see it again, you can check it out on the Amy Gillett Website and spread the word.
I believe it is a great innovative advert, raising awareness of the need for mutual respect and understanding between motorists and cyclists. I really like they way they portray the women in the advert. Congratulations to the team at the Amy Gillett Foundation and the company which provided pro bona support for the development of the advert, well done. Hopefully it is only the start of an ongoing campaign. Mutal respect and consideration is vital to improve safety and enjoyment for bicycle riders on our road.”

really liked the ad, agree that plenty needs to be done(on both sides) to foster increased respect and safety between cyclists and motorists. liked the use of stereotypes and then all is not as it seems… Congratulations to all involved, hope it gets/got plenty of coverage and airtime(sorry, we don’t own a telly so I first saw in on the web!!)
