As a survivor of a bicyce run down, I wish to express sadness at the loss of a fellow pedestrian. The difficulty with bikes is they are silent, quick and small, and on a crowded street are yet another person. The cyclist who hit me abused me for being in his way despite my laying face down on the road.
Please cyclists, ride slowly around pedestrians, follow all road rules, especially indicate if you are turning a corner, cars have to, so do you!
