Amy’s Ride Queensland - Saturday 9 December 2006
The Portfolio Partners Southbank to Surfers 100km Ride will double bill as Amy’s Ride Queensland. Participants can choose from a 100km ride, starting at Southbank, or a 45km out-and-back, starting in Surfers Paradise, with both finishing on the Esplanade in Surfers Paradise. This is your chance to ride with the likes of Robbie McEwen, fresh from his Green Jersey win at this year’s Tour de France, and celebrate your ride at the post-event festivities in Cavill Mall.

Last January’s Amy’s Ride was a great day - raising funds for the Amy Gillett Foundation and commemorating the life of a world champion rower and elite cyclist. This year’s event will be even bigger and play an important role in acknowledging the need to increase safety and understanding between motorists and cyclists. Come and show your support.
