For further information, please contact Bendigo RoS organiser Eddie Barkla via the online form at Ride of Silence.
From Eddie Barkla: Bendigo RoS has a VIC Roads permit and Police Escort as well as support in principal from the Greater City of Bendigo. We are hoping that we pass the 200 riders and have sent invitations to the Bendigo BUGS (Bicycle Users Group) Bendigo & District Cycling Club, the Bendigo Triathlete Club and E-mails to over 400 riders in the local Network.
We anticipate getting media support and will be making contact in the very near future although they are well aware of the ride being on as we have been advertising locally the ride over the last 2 months. Would appreciate any media information that you may have to be forwarded onto the local news paper news desk.
A normal Saturday group rides in Bendigo average around 200 plus riders. This covers 6 groups that leave from the same spot and arrive at a number of coffee shops. Looking forward God willing to the ride
