Herald Sun: Cyclist run over by truck
A cyclist has died after falling under the wheels of a prime mover in Brisbane’s east. A 54-year-old man from Wynnum West was riding along Port Drive at the Port of Brisbane yesterday at 1.30pm (AEST) when he lost control of his bicycle and fell onto the road, police said. It is believed the man fell under the wheels of the truck’s trailer as it drove past. The cyclist was taken to Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane but died several hours later.
