US: Cyclist Remembered in South Charlotte

WBTV.com: Cyclist Remembered in South Charlotte

More than thirty cyclists followed a hearse Wednesday morning as it carried another cyclist who was killed in Lancaster County last weekend. A funeral service was held for Lee Anne Barry at Church at Charlotte. The cyclists rode all the way from Barry’s home in Waxhaw to the church on Carmel Road. The cyclists said they did it because riding bikes was what Barry loved to do.

She and another cyclist, Tim Hoskins, were struck by a car this weekend while participating in a charity bike ride.

Hoskins is from Columbia, South Carolina.
