Eugene McGee looked guilty..his body language told the story. He will be a pariah for life. At least that is some form of punishment. The most worrying aspect of this justice train wreck is the seeming complicity of the various authorities in assisting McGee in avoiding justice.

Why should I have any faith in the police service, The Legal Practitioners Conduct Board, any Royal Commision or any court? Each of these has failed the public in the investigation.management of this matter.

Of course, Mr McGee is being absolutely honest…so is Julia Gillard. It’s just that we punters can’t get our heads around the newest definition of honest. Stupid us.

Di Gilcrist should write a book about her ordeal and the bitter taste left by the SA Judiciary ;we should set a fund to help her publish her book so that Eugene ,his killer and accomplices are never forgotten and is our way to tell them that they can get away with it, but we know that thi is not Justice’.

I know how the wife and child must feel Justice is a farce! I was hit in Queensland and taken through double glass door and trapped between car and wall. I was a pedestrian as well in a car park!!! The woman was 67 and couldn’t be charged as she said she had a cramp in her left leg and its suppose to be a involuntary action!!! Bull Shit!!!!! I was determined to make her suffer something. I had twelve months with x-rays, drs, specialists, podiatrists, pyscgologists and what not. I am still in recovery and have to learn to live with her not being charged as she was in a privately owned car park?????? I eventually heard her licence was withdrawn by Townsville police as she was ordered to do another test down there just before Christmas. Has she hit someone else?????? Will this guy hit and kill someone else??????

Unfortunately, the Eugene McGee case is not an isolated one. The untouchable lawyers club exists in every state of Australia. Lawyers crime is rife in Australia. The judiciary has successfully in the pass closed down every website warning others of lawyer corruption. Our governments are heavy handed with lawyers. Lawyers have a total monopoly of our judicial system. Lawyers self regulate the industry – all legal commissioners office are run by lawyers. 99% of complaints against lawyers are dismissed. Only if lawyers screw other lawyers or banks are they every charged with a crime. I feel so sorry for this poor family as their lives have been turned upside down through no fault of theirs.

It makes angry. And frustrated that these men can hide their cowardice ,
Step up be real men

I, tonight, watched Australian story on this topic. I am utterly disgusted by Eugene McGee’s conduct. I am a father of two girls myself. This story made my blood boil. Given his position of knowledge, McGee’s misuse of this and unrepentant conduct shows that he deserves to rot in hell. Given his brother’s form, it clearly runs in the family. May you McGees both burn in hell.

Ok Mr Lawyer, the Law teaches MOST professionals that there is a duty of care to report an accident, yet you being a part of the accident never reported it – hence the man ran over or hit could still have been saved if you pulled over and reported it right away, no? Or is or does this law only abide to lesser paid professionals? NEGLIGENCE is written all over this care, and you are responsible for not reporting the incident.

Going to your brother or brother in-Laws place for a few scotches doesn’t help you, in fact indicates that your possibly even more in the wrong because your not taking your responsibility as a driver seriously. Perhaps even out of fear, doesn’t matter! You probably feared killing the man and it looks like you fled the scene taking no responsibility for your own actions whether innocent or not.
In my option you should have stopped, checked the mans vital signs and rang “OOO” right away! In not doing this I believe you are negligent.

The Courts finding and Brotherhoods finding of Lawyers seems very strange, people in lesser positions have been penalized worse that you have.

Get real mate! Get real Australia and your repeated clumsiness “Law System” that allows negligent people through the loop-holes you yourselves haven’t closed yet.

Why is this I and many Australians, I am sure would ask you today?

It continues to amaze many people Ms Gilchrist, how such an arrogant , aloof and incompetent person is allowed to continue as Commissioner. This person is widely despised by most serving Police officers. He clearly has no leadership skills, very little sense of morality, a questionable background prior to coming to SA, and yet managed to snare an AO for services to Police work. Inspector Clouseau where are you, when we need you.

I am very pleased Mr Rau has taken some action on this matter. It is incomprehensible that McGee should get away with his actions. He should be struck off. What about the Brother, he should suffer some consequences as well. McGee wouldnt have been able to get away with his actions without the Brother
