People who want to cycle but don’t feel they have the skills for modern road conditions should be able to access training close to where they live.

Ghost Bikes
The intent of the Ghostcycle project is to raise awareness for everyone regarding bicyclists on the streets of Seattle. Our city is one of the most bike-friendly cities in North America, but things can always improve. We began to use this website to collect data from cyclists in the Seattle-area who have been involved in an accident while bicycling.

Ride of Silence
A little history of this ride and how it came to be…. The 2003 ride at White Rock Lake in Dallas drew 1,000 cyclists through word of mouth and email communication over a period of only ten days. There was no registration, no fees, no t-shirt. Local media reported the ride to be incredibly moving as these cyclists rode in silence, occasionally wiping away a tear or patting a friend on the back.
